Curry Quantities


Not a perfect science so please feel free to add or change the way you make YOUR curry. 
My mother always did.

For two

What you will need

·   1 tablespoon - vegetable oil
·   1 small shallot - chopped
·   2 cloves of garlic - chopped
·   2 tablespoons curry leaves (fresh or dried)
·   1 teaspoon sugar if making pork curry
·   200g chopped chicken, prawns, pork, fish (cod or haddock) or vegetables
·   11/2 tablespoons - Deema's spices
·    1/2 tin coconut milk (200ml, full fat)
·    1 cup of water
·    Salt to taste

You can also add any vegetables you like to your meat, fish or prawn curry.

 For four peeps

What you will need

·      2 tablespoons - vegetable oil
·      2 small shallots  - chopped
·      3 cloves garlic - chopped
·      3 tablespoons curry leaves (fresh or dried)
·      1 teaspoon of sugar if making pork dish
·      400g chopped chicken, prawns, pork, fish (cod or haddock) or vegetables
·      3 tablespoons - Deema's spices
·      1 tin coconut milk (400ml, full fat)
·      2 cups of water
·      Salt to taste

You can also add any vegetables you like to your meat, fish or prawn curry.
